Built between 1843 and 1863, repeatedly modernized. After the war, Soviet troops were stationed there until 1962.

The tour route includes a self-guided walk along a marked path around the entire fort (fort courtyards, fire control tower, underground passages, artillery positions on the gallery) and the museum room. Visitors also have the opportunity to "turn" real anti-aircraft guns. The route is marked with arrows and described in Polish, German, and English. The whole site visit takes about 1 hour.
From May to September, a small catering point operates on-site. Parking is located in front of the fort entrance.
