This is the oldest body massage. Through properly selected massage techniques, it achieves muscle, skin, and subcutaneous tissue relaxation, as well as increased blood flow in the treated area, resulting in pain reduction. Muscle relaxation also promotes psychophysical relaxation.
Deep tissue massage is especially recommended for people with pain, strains, and movement limitations. Deep work on muscles and fascia reduces their tension, improves hydration, elasticity, mobility, and endurance.
Using the therapist’s hands, lymph circulation is improved. This prevents diseases resulting from congestive, inflammatory, oncotic, and lymphatic edema. The massage pace is very slow, and the techniques used are performed smoothly and gently. Treatments can be conducted several times a day. Kinesiotaping affects the skin (mainly pain receptors and deep sensation), muscles, joints, and the lymphatic system. Its main physiological functions include reducing pain and sensory hypersensitivity in the skin and muscles, correcting joint position, and reducing lymphatic swelling. General uses of kinesiotaping: regulates blood circulation, decreases tissue congestion, reduces inflammation, lowers muscle fatigue, improves range of motion, decreases excessive muscle tension, and reduces pain perception. In pregnant women, kinesiotaping helps alleviate lower back pain and lymphatic leg swelling.
Peat compresses are highly effective for musculoskeletal disorders—such as joint and cartilage degeneration or back pain. They are invaluable in treating injuries and can be used in chronic (but not acute!) conditions. They may also help regulate the menstrual cycle and relieve menopause symptoms.
Used for its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-swelling effects. Most commonly, local cryotherapy supports physiotherapeutic treatment of post-injury muscle and joint conditions, degenerative diseases, spinal pain syndromes, inflammations, and joint overloads.
Ultrasound therapy can help relieve or even eliminate persistent ailments. It is recommended for rheumatic diseases, degenerative spine and joint conditions, post-traumatic states, and treatment of lymphatic swelling.
Electrotherapy helps relieve pain and inflammation. It also stimulates deeper layers of tissues and muscles, improving blood circulation and nourishment, which promotes faster regeneration.
As a branch of physiotherapy, laser therapy stimulates healing processes in the musculoskeletal system. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-swelling effects, supports wound healing, and stimulates microcirculation.
Exposure to the Sollux lamp causes deep tissue warming, activating blood flow in affected areas. The heat radiation improves local circulation and stimulates metabolic processes.
Magnetic fields acting on the body accelerate connective tissue regeneration and bone scarring. They increase oxygen absorption by tissues, reduce swelling and inflammation, and help relieve pain.
Viofor treatments improve peripheral circulation. By enhancing the transport of oxygen and nutrients, body cells are better nourished and oxygenated, helping to combat inflammation and pain more effectively.
This treatment uses the hydrostatic pressure of water to increase vascular resistance and heart activity. The buoyancy of water allows for low-impact exercise, benefiting the musculoskeletal, circulatory, and respiratory systems. Water-based exercises reduce muscle tension and improve joint mobility.

The salt cave utilizes the beneficial properties of salt. The clean, ionized air helps relax and supports the treatment of many diseases – asthma, sinusitis, neurosis, and hypothyroidism. In the microclimate of the salt cave, essential elements for health, well-being, and proper functioning and protection of internal organs are released, such as iodine, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, bromine, and selenium, which especially improves skin appearance and condition, as well as copper, which has strong antifungal effects. Visits to the salt cave supply the body with minerals necessary for proper internal processes and stimulate them, indirectly supporting weight loss and strengthening immunity. Besides inhalation, staying in the salt cave allows for relaxation and stress relief.
Bathing in brine improves metabolic processes, leading to the body's cleansing of toxins and deposits, and also has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and relaxing effects. We remain at your disposal
Before your first spa treatment, please review the contraindications for the chosen service and complete a brief health questionnaire. On site, it is advisable to come without jewelry or valuables, change in the dressing room cabin, store personal items in a locker, and silence or leave your phone outside the treatment room. It is best to confirm your reservation in advance by phone or email (spa@cesarskieogrody.pl) and arrive on time – reservations are held for a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled time.
Medical Spa offers a wide range of options. The choice of treatment depends on the guest's goal—those with pain and limited mobility should start with Therapeutic Treatments (massages, drainage, physiotherapy), those seeking relaxation and recovery with Kinesiotherapy/relaxation (pool gymnastics, salt cave, outdoor training), and those wanting deep nervous system relaxation with Hydrotherapy (therapeutic baths). Before booking, each guest completes a health questionnaire and reviews contraindications for the chosen service to exclude any unsuitable treatments.
Medical Spa is a base of treatments with therapeutic and rehabilitative purposes — physiotherapy, drainage, cryotherapy, electrotherapy, and kinesiotherapy — performed by qualified staff in cooperation with physiotherapists and doctors, aimed at pain reduction, mobility improvement, and restoring function. The "regular" SPA (like our Beauty and Wellness area) focuses on a wide range of cosmetic and relaxation treatments — facial, hand, and foot care, microdermabrasion, and relaxation massages. In practice, Medical Spa addresses health and recovery needs, while the Beauty/Wellness area caters to relaxation and beauty care; both areas can be freely combined during one stay.
The duration of Medical Spa treatments varies greatly—from 4 minutes (local cryotherapy) to 50 minutes (classic massage in the longer version). Most physical treatments (ultrasound, electrotherapy, laser, sollux, magnetotherapy, Viofor) last 5 to 15 minutes, massages and drains 10 to 40 minutes, and group sessions (pool exercises, outdoor training) about 20 minutes. Since many treatments can be combined in one visit, total time at the Treatment Base is best arranged with SPA staff when booking.
People with uncontrolled heart defects, pacemakers, endoprostheses, advanced hypertension, malignant and benign tumors, and those menstruating cannot use massages and body treatments. Contraindications also include pregnancy in the first and last trimesters, breastfeeding, phlebitis, large varicose veins and aneurysms, internal organ diseases, dermatological changes, bleeding, acute and subacute inflammations, and skin discontinuity. Note that some treatments may be impossible for active individuals after injuries. Before each treatment, please review the full contraindications list for the chosen service and complete the health questionnaire.
Yes, before starting a treatment at the Medical Spa in our hotel, the Guest must review the contraindications for the chosen service and complete a health questionnaire. Using the service and starting the treatment confirms there are no health contraindications to using the Treatment Facility, Wellness Zone, or Beauty Salon. The questionnaire helps our staff select a safe type and intensity of therapy – we focus on a personalized approach.
Yes, if the spa area has available slots, you can use a treatment without prior reservation. However, we recommend booking in advance – reservations are accepted daily from 08:00 to 20:00 by phone, email (spa@cesarskieogrody.pl), or in writing, and our staff will help you choose a suitable time. Reservations remain valid up to 10 minutes past the scheduled time.
The treatment may be cancelled free of charge up to 5 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made less than 5 hours before the appointment incur a fee of 50% of the treatment price; no-shows or cancellations made later incur 100%. These terms apply to all services in the Spa Treatment Area, Wellness Zone and Beauty Salon.
Reservations remain valid for up to 10 minutes after the scheduled time. After this, we reserve the right to cancel or shorten the treatment without a price reduction. To fully utilize your reserved time, we recommend arriving a few minutes early.
Unlike spa sanatoriums that often offer NFZ-reimbursed treatments as part of longer, standardized stays, our Medical Spa provides fully commercial treatments, flexible in booking and tailored individually to the guest's length of stay. We do not offer NFZ-reimbursed rehabilitation treatments, but the treatment package with a medical consultation can be billed to the German health insurance based on a certificate issued by the hotel. This option suits guests who want to combine a shorter, comfortable leisure trip with a specific health treatment, without booking a multi-week sanatorium stay.
Our Medical Spa combines a professional and extensive range of physiotherapy and rehabilitation treatments with relaxation in a peaceful seaside setting, supporting pain relief, improved mobility, and full recovery. Services are available year-round. The Baltic Sea climate, traditionally linked to iodine and minerals in the air, is also recognized for supporting the respiratory system and immunity.
SPA treatments can be booked daily, including Sundays, 08:00–20:00. Please note that medical treatments take place on weekdays only (not Saturdays or Sundays), while doctor consultations are held on Sundays and Mondays. Due to this difference, we recommend confirming Sunday availability for your chosen treatment with SPA Reception before arrival. Keep this in mind when planning your spa weekend.
Medical consultations at our Medical Spa take place only on Sundays and Mondays and require prior appointment. Contraindications for physiotherapy and health treatments must be determined by the doctor during such a consultation. We recommend contacting the SPA Reception well in advance, as the number of medical appointments is limited.
A medical visit not included in the accommodation offer costs 100 PLN on Sundays and Mondays, and 200 PLN on other weekdays. Such a consultation can be the basis for issuing a certificate needed to settle treatments with the German health insurance, as we do not routinely provide treatments reimbursed by the Polish NFZ. If the medical visit is part of a purchased health package, its cost is already included in the stay price.
Please do not bring mobile phones into the treatment or switch them off beforehand – our SPA area is a space of quiet and relaxation. We also recommend arriving without jewelry or valuables; if you have any, you will be asked to remove them before the treatment, and the SPA is not responsible for jewelry left in the treatment room or locker room. Personal belongings are best left in the changing room locker, with the key attached to your wrist.
For chronic spine and joint ailments, deep tissue massage, peat wraps, magnetotherapy, and laser therapy work best. Deep tissue massage reduces muscle-fascia tension and improves mobility, peat wraps soothe joint degeneration and back pain, while magnetotherapy and laser therapy provide pain relief and anti-inflammatory effects, aiding tissue regeneration. These treatments can be combined in one visit after consultation with our SPA staff, who will select the appropriate order and intensity of therapy. Our medical spa hotel offers these treatments.
Yes, we recommend peat wraps for this purpose. This treatment can help regulate the menstrual cycle and relieve bothersome menopause symptoms, while also supporting treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and back pain. Wraps are only used in chronic conditions and are not advised for acute inflammations.
