At the Cesarskie Ogrody Hotel*** the well-being of minors, that is, our youngest Guests, is one of our priorities.
In order to ensure their safety, we have introduced the Minor Protection Standards, which we implement in accordance with the Act of May 13, 2016 on Counteracting Sexual Crime Threats and Protecting Minors, as well as the guidelines of the United Nations. As of August 15, 2024, this act imposes additional obligations on us, which we prefer to inform you about before your arrival.
What does this information mean for you?
When traveling with children, you must be aware that during the check-in procedure you will be asked to present the child's identity document (ID card, passport, or student ID where applicable). Regardless of this requirement, we encourage you to bring these documents – an ID card or passport when traveling to our western neighbors will help avoid unpleasant consequences in case of encounters with German law enforcement.
If you are traveling with minors who are not your children (e.g., grandchildren, friends' children) – we recommend bringing documents confirming parental consent allowing the minor to stay under your care. You can find a sample authorization under this link.
During the stay, we will also refrain from room service and technical work if a child is left in the room without an accompanying adult.
