The Museum of Ships on Water is the first exhibition facility in Poland where the displayed ship models are showcased in their natural setting, that is, on the water.
In the museum, you will find ship models in various scales (the largest exhibits are about 4 meters long), which have a very rich and sometimes tragic history. Especially selected the most beautiful sailing ships, an interactive Port of Świnoujście with floating ferries from the 1970s, a submerging submarine, 3D images of ships, and much more. Interesting descriptions with refined curiosities about the exhibits, accompanied by beautiful musical background featuring the most famous sea shanties from around the world and the port of Świnoujście, create an unparalleled atmosphere.
Work on one of the large models often takes more than half a year. Ships are made using different techniques by small shipbuilding and modeling teams from distant parts of Poland.
